Setting up your own artwork for printing
A few tips to help you along the way...
- We prefer artwork to be sent as a PDF with fonts converted to curves, this ensure your job will be printed as you see it on screen.
- Make sure the programme you are using has been set to the correct paper size. Letter size is an American size and is not A4
- The colours you see on screen do not always print as you expect, for colour matching we need to see a physical example.
- Printers Do NOT print to the edge of the paper, instead we have to print on an over-sized sheet with a 'bleed of colour off the page, then the sheet is trimmed to the print. 3mm bleeds are industry standard. The sheet below explains how to set bleeds on your artwork.
