Setting up your own artwork for printing

A few tips to help you along the way...

  1. We prefer artwork to be sent as a PDF with fonts converted to curves,  this ensure your job will be printed as you see it on screen.
  2. Make sure the programme you are using has been set to the correct paper size.  Letter size is an American size and is not A4
  3. The colours you see on screen do not always print as you expect, for colour matching we need to see a physical example.
  4. Printers Do NOT print to the edge of the paper, instead we have to print on an over-sized sheet with a 'bleed of colour off the page, then the sheet is trimmed to the print.  3mm bleeds are industry standard. The sheet below explains how to set bleeds on your artwork.
